Chalkboard!

Little man did so well with his alphabet at school this week that he was able to choose TWO surprises from the surprise box! One of the things he picked was a box of chalk, and as soon as I picked him up, he wanted to know when the sun would go out and the snow would melt so he could use his chalk. He asked me multiple times over the course of the night, and I informed him that it would be "many moons" before we were lucky enough to have sunshine and no snow!! So, I decided that it would be a good time to invest in an inside chalkboard, to allow him to use chalkboard until the snow melts. It was a hit, and he loved drawing pictures of his family and friends! He seems to have my artistic ability at this point, which is non existent, so hopefully as time goes on, his creativity with words will carry over to his art work. He tells the GREATEST stories about dinosaurs you have never heard of that live in the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods, and about the dinosaur families that he lived with before he came to us. It's pretty wild, and the stuff he comes up with is pretty amazing!
