Jackson has now officially grown out of his infant car seat, and unfortunately Chicco does not make a toddler seat. Luckily, Kim and Jonathon (thanks E!) saved the day yet again, and we have two Britax toddler car seats ready to go! We loaded the new car seat in the back of my Subaru, and tried it on for size tonight. Jackson seemed to enjoy it, other than he realized that his row of toys was missing. I am working on a solution for that right now, as I can't imagine him entertaining himself for long car rides without a row of toys in front of him! Grandma and Grandpa Mower came over tonight to have dinner with us, and Jackson was the life of the party, as usual. In between bites of carrots and apple/plum/grape delight, Jackson was busy smiling, flirting, and practicing his hyena laugh! And, by the end of the meal, Jackson had finished almost THREE full baby foods, yes THREE!!! This is a record, and he has been having two containers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until tonight. Check out the pic of him sitting in his highchair with his hands folded together! He was so delighted to have dinner guests tonight, that he sat just like this while being fed, instead of his usual grunting and moaning while waiting impatiently for the next bite of delicious carrots! The fourth tooth has officially broke through, and Jackson now has four teeth, and is moving on to number five!
