In between spending the day in bed with Lonnie and I, Jackson had an exciting weekend! Unfortunately he started another bout with a cold on Friday, and by Sunday, he had a temperature of 102 degrees +, and was lethargic and worn out. In between sleeping, Jackson started RUNNING for the first time! He realized that it was much easier to walk with using something as leverage, and he started pushing the John Deere tractor his cousin Peyton got him for Christmas around the house. He runs just as well on carpet as he does on the hardwood and tile, but I prefer the softer carpet, to accomodate for his frequent falls! Watch out world, little man is now mobile!
Headed to the pediatrician today, just to make sure there was nothing more than the common cold in the works. As Jackson slept 17+ hours last night and napped for more than 4 hours today, I was starting to get pretty nervous. Luckily it's nothing out of the ordinary, and should run its course in the next several days. Now, if we could just get Jackson to eat or drink, we wouldn't worry so much!
