It's been a rough past week for all of us, as little man has arrived at the Terrible Two's a wee bit early, 11 months to be exact!

Not only does Jackson like to get into everything, but there are times when he wants to be independent and doesn't want any assistance, and there are times when you can be an inch from his view and he just throws himself down on the floor and SOBS in your absence. Very unusal for our typically very happy little man! We even caught a pic tonight of him doing something other than smiling, and I'm sure it had something to do with Jackson not getting his way! Please pray for us over the next 11 months, I have a feeling we are going to need it!

In between these tempers and tantrums we still catch a glimpse of Jackson's old self: happy, carefree, and SUCH a little lover, wanting to cuddle and be held in the midst of playing. A friend told me recently that a child stops being "yours" at one year and becomes independent and self absorbed, and doesn't usually come back to you for a year or two. Here's hoping that doesn't happen with Jackson!
