Another great week of fun in the sun, and a birthday swimming party today for Sabrina! Jackson had a great time, and was so worn out from the heat and the water that he took a nap poolside. What a life!

Jackson officially graduated from his Baby Signs I class this week, and will go on to the second session of sign language in the fall. He also finished out his summer gym class, and won't be taking anything else until the fall. With all the activities to do outdoors, he doesn't need to be cooped up in a building for any period of time if he doesn't have to. As you can see, Jackson's curls are getting long, and when his hair is wet, his hair touches the base of his neck. It may be time for a trim soon, but we'll try and hold off until October so Jackson and daddy can have matching hair for Halloween (you'll find out what that means later - stay tuned).

P.S. - I just heard some sad news from my sissy. It sounds like Grandma McKinney will need a hip replacement, which will probably take place after the first of the year. Praying that she is able to get by until that time with minimal pain, and I will definitely plan to head to Portland for grandma's surgery to spend time with her and help her and Larry with their day-to-day activities while grandma is starting to get up and around. I love you, and will call you this weekend!
