Each year, it gets a little more difficult to put up the Christmas tree, as Jackson wants to be more and more involved, and touch all things, breakable or not. He also insisted on placing the angel on top of the tree with his daddy, and he knows the difference between his dad "helping", and Jackson doing it by himself... That resulted in a few crying episodes and a few tries of getting it right, all while Lonnie had to precariously stand on a step stool holding a 42 lb. boy...
Luckily his daddy is patient and they finally got it right! We upgraded from a 6 foot tree to a 7.5 foot tree this year, thanks to sissy's Black Friday Christmas shopping and a great deal at Home Depot! We also changed the venue for the tree this year to give us a higher ceiling and a bit more space. It will also give me an excuse to clean out the playroom which is a disaster!
