Jackson had his 6 month appointment on Tuesday (at 6 1/2 months) and weighed in at 18 lbs. exactly, and measured 26 1/2 inches long! He has tripled his size since birth and almost doubled his length, and in the meantime, has become the best part of our lives!
Jackson had been going on three weeks of being sick when we had our pediatrician appointment this week, and Dr. Norlin discovered that he did have an ear infection, which is likely why he was not recovering on his own. After prescribing a 10 day supply of Amoxicillin, Jackson got a total of four shots, including his flu shot.
Grandma and Grandpa flew in from Rogersville, TN on Friday, and are spending the next week with Jackson while Lonnie and I vacation in Kauai, and spend some much needed time R and R'ing, and enjoying each other! So far Jackson has done great with grandma and grandpa, and has continued to remain his happy little self, even though he misses his mommy and daddy terribly...
