We had a great Sunday, and started it out with brunch at Wade and Paul's house. Traiton, Peyton, and Jackson were just as enamored with the Christmas decorations as Tracy and I are, and they had a great time running from room to room checking out all the decorations and lights. Shadow (Wade and Paul's black lab) had a great time running around after Peyton and Jackson and picking up scraps.
Then it was back to the house for good naps before heading to Fashion Place mall to see Santa! Luckily, we arrived just in time, as we were the last in line before they closed. Jackson's latest cold was starting to take effect, which calmed him down enough to allow us to walk around the mall and get ready for our big moment. When it was our turn, Peyton walked right up to Santa and climbed onto his knee. Jackson looked at me with a face that said "heck no!!!", and reached for me while crying. I sat next to Santa, and Jackson sat on my lap, and the four of us made a great team!
