After spending two days in Burlington, it was time to head to Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Neither Lonnie nor I had ever been, so we packed up our 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder (rental car - small, but snazzy, and it's a convertible) that can BARELY fit us and our luggage at the same time, and drove across the border.
Canada reminded me of many beautiful areas in Paris and Germany, and with everyone speakingFrench, I felt SO far away from the United States and home! We had an amazing dinner in "Old Town" and ate inside an old stockyard, and walked around the city at night, stumbling upon the first "urban arts" effort in Quebec (apparently this type of art originated in LA and San Francisco)... After one night, we were ready to move on, and back across the border to the United States!
