We had a great weekend with Paula and Mike, Dalton, Elizabeth, and Elena, and Jackson LOVED having so many kids around! There was always someone to watch and something going on to entertain him, and several nights while they were here, he lasted a full hour past his usual bedtime. That doesn't mean he slept any longer, but he enjoyed himself while he was awake!
He is still loving his bath time, and I moved him down to our bathtub for the weekend so the kids could use his usual tub. He likes the bigger tub, and waits patiently (not so patient!) by the side of the tub while the water is running. I got him a new Elmo bath mat to keep him from slipping, and he doesn't understand that the red Elmo's on the mat are not actually in the tub with him, and he tries to splash them and kick them away. It's a sight to see, if you are prepared to get soaking wet while he splashes water all over the place! He dunked his head completely under this week (while daddy was bathing him), and came up laughing!
Jackson is so much fun, it's hard to believe he's only been in our lives (on the outside) for 9 short months!
