Happy Birthday Peyton! Jackson and I arrived safely in Sacramento on Tuesday, and have been having a great time with the family! Jackson did great on the plane, and didn't make a peep the entire time. Hoping we have as much luck on the flight home. Tuesday we spent the day at Shriner's for Peyton's pre-admission, and Wednesday morning her surgery was bright and early at 7:30. She was out by 10:30, and did great! She was groggy and grouchy (who wouldn't be with the loss of a finger!) on Wednesday, so we held off on her 1st birthday celebration until she was feeling better yesterday. Pics above show how much she loved her cake! Jackson even tried a bit of frosting, it was quite a party! Tracy let me choose Peyton's cast color and I chose purple, it looks great on her! She is pretty interested in Jackson, but after swiping him in the nose yesterday he's now keeping his distance. One last weekend of freedom before it's back to work!
